At the beginning the footpath  presents panoramic turns that lead to the silver lava River left by the 1944 eruption. The moderately slanted footpath is shaded with Brooms, Valerian, Myrtle and Laurel. Continuing, there is an opening that offers an incomparable view of Naples' Gulf, the Pinewood of the Alto Tirone Reserve fascinating views of the  Great Cone, the Hill of Umberto, the Giant Valley, the Atrium of the Horse. Shortly afterwards you will gain the highest Point "Punta Nasone" 1132 meters.
